Job Description:

  • Oversee the servicing of orders for regional sales teams, ensuring timely resolution within a customer service framework.
  • Validate demand over time, prioritize orders based on customer requirements, and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Ensure seamless supply chain operations by verifying purchase orders, letters of credit, regulatory clearances, artwork details, SKU codes, IL checks, manufacturing license checks, minimum shelf-life requirements, pre-shipment documents submission to customers, and timelines.
  • Analyze order status in our systems and gather information on scheduling, material receipt, and dispatch schedules.
  • Identify potential issues that may affect defined timelines and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of assigned orders for the region, driving all documentation related to shipments with cross-functional teams.
  • Mitigate risks and delays proactively to incur no demurrage/penalties on shipments by collaborating with logistics teams on shipment planning.
  • Attend relevant meetings to obtain data and information on all open orders for the region and their status updates.
  • Identify and resolve issues such as artwork approval, batch size, minimum order quantity, etc. that hinder on-time-in-full delivery.
  • Arrange cross-functional meetings to resolve bottlenecks related to priority orders, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Gather feedback from timely resolution of issues with concerned stakeholders.
  • Identify outstanding/open orders for defined priority customers and analyze issues requiring immediate escalation to cross-functional teams.
  • Prioritize orders/customers based on defined parameters and identify key stakeholders who need to be engaged to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Provide detailed analysis to the head of emerging market supply chain management on all outstanding orders for discussion in meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and reporting (VBA macros, Power BI)
  • Good understanding of supply chain principles, preferably in the pharma industry
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions
  • SAP knowledge essential
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Decision-making, ability to prioritize on a dynamic basis
  • Negotiation skills/conflict resolution
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to understand and work around constraints
  • Plant PPIC concepts clarity, prior experience essential
