Job Summary

This is a challenging role that requires a seasoned professional to oversee and manage complex tax matters.

  • Preparation and review of intricate tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1041.
  • Supervision and guidance of tax staff, providing training and performance feedback.
  • Development and execution of tax planning strategies for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and estates.
  • Research and resolution of complex tax issues for clients.
  • Ensuring compliance with IRS and state tax regulations.
  • Clients will be assigned directly to the chosen candidate who will ensure they have all necessary information by maintaining strong professional relationships.

Key Requirements

  • A CPA or EA certification is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • No less than 10 years of experience in US taxation, with expertise in 1040, 1065, 1120, and estate/trust returns.
  • Prior experience in managing and mentoring teams is expected.
  • Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and US tax law is required.
  • Proficiency with US tax software, such as CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, UltraTax, or equivalent is essential.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and client management skills are needed.
