Job Title: Tax Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting assessment proceedings with tax authorities and liaising with them for ongoing matters.

  • Support assessment proceedings with tax authorities, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Liaise with tax authorities for ongoing matters, providing expert advice on direct tax and transfer pricing issues.
  • Draft rectification applications and related submissions, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Conduct research on direct tax and transfer pricing issues, preparing technical submissions that meet the highest standards.
  • Prepare replies to be filed before tax authorities, including penalty proceedings, stay of demand, demand adjustment, appeal effect applications, etc.
  • Prepare and file corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Independently handle TDS returns, showcasing expertise in international tax matters.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) degree.
  • 1–4 years of relevant tax experience, preferably in a Big 4 firm or MNC.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate tax and international tax regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Business acumen with adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and hands-on approach with strong initiative.
