Job Opportunity: Senior Data Scientist - Forecasting Expertise

A seasoned data scientist with expertise in forecasting and simulation model building is sought to join our team at an innovative organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement point forecasting and probabilistic forecasting models using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.
  • Build agent-based simulation models using Anylogic and other simulation software.
  • Conduct hierarchical forecasting and use cross-validation techniques such as rolling-window, expanding-window, k-fold, and hold-out.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in MLOps and LLM or GPT technology.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Sciences, Engineering, or quantitative-related field.
  • Minimum 5-9 years of experience as a Data Scientist in industry.
  • Expertise in simulation model building principles, machine learning, and best practices.
  • Knowledge of statistical forecasting techniques such as ARIMA, THETA, and Exponential Smoothing.
  • Experience with ML-based forecasting techniques such as GBM, LightGBM, XGBoost, Linear Regression.
  • DL-based forecasting techniques such as DeepAR, NBEATS, LSTM, RNN.
