Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Science Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data-driven solutions to drive business growth.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with expertise in Python and experience working with large datasets. You will be responsible for developing efficient scripts for data collection and transformation, as well as designing and implementing web scraping solutions to extract structured and unstructured data.

You will also perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and key data libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
  • Hands-on experience with web scraping tools and libraries (Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, Selenium).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Azure.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs for data collection and integration.
