Embedded Cybersecurity Specialist Wanted

We are seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Specialist with expertise in embedded systems security to join our team.

This role involves ensuring the security and integrity of our runtime codebase, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks, and providing guidance on secure development practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, cybersecurity, and software development, as well as experience working with Linux, VxWorks/RTOS, and Windows operating systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing effective cybersecurity solutions for our embedded systems;
  • Collaborating with developers to ensure that their code meets our strict security standards;
  • Providing training and support to colleagues on cybersecurity best practices;
  • Evaluating and mitigating potential security risks in our products;

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field;
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in software development and/or cybersecurity;
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python, as well as knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell;
  • Experience working with open-source software, Git, GitHub, Debian GNU/Linux, and Ubuntu;
  • Familiarity with software composition analysis and threat modeling;
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
