Job Description:

The Reservoir Insights Expert plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality petrophysical evaluations and advancing reservoir understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of advanced logging programs to optimize data acquisition strategies.
  • Conduct comprehensive formation evaluations, integrating results into subsurface models and documentation.
  • Provide real-time decision support during drilling operations, ensuring optimal well placement and performance.
  • Cordinate coring programmes and associated laboratory studies to ensure accurate deliverables.
  • Ensure data integrity across all acquisition phases, maintaining high standards of quality control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate petrophysical insights and optimize data acquisition workflows.
  • Develop and implement machine learning and AI techniques to enhance petrophysical interpretation and automate workflows.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree or higher in Geophysics from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in Petrophysics domain within the oil & gas industry.
  • Proven track record in offshore exploration, appraisal, and development projects.
  • Experience with major or international oil companies highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in industry-standard petrophysical software.
  • In-depth knowledge of logging tools, acquisition systems, and core-log-seismic integration workflows.
  • Skilled in advanced interpretation techniques.
  • Experience with complex reservoir types.
