We're looking for an accomplished accounting expert to take on a critical role in our finance team. This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong accounting skills and experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and vendor/customer ledgers. They will also handle accounts payable and receivable, billing, and reconciliations. Additionally, they will ensure timely monthly closures (profit & loss statement, balance sheet, cash flow) and manage statutory compliance (GST, TDS, PT, PF/ESIC filings).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting – GL entries, bank reconciliations, vendor/customer ledgers
  • Handle accounts payable & receivable, billing, and reconciliations
  • Ensure timely monthly closures (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Manage statutory compliance – GST, TDS, PT, PF/ESIC filings
  • Support audits with schedules and documentation
  • Generate MIS reports and provide insights on expenses, collections, and cash flow
  • Implement internal controls and process improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
  • 5–7 years' accounting experience with strong GST/TDS knowledge
  • Experience with Zoho Books (preferred) or similar systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently
