About the Role:

BrightEdge is a global leader in enterprise SEO and content performance solutions, driving AI-powered digital marketing success for the world's top brands.

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, with expertise in Selenium/Playwright and Python/Java.

This role involves working closely with product managers, engineers, and DevOps teams to ensure high product quality through automation testing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing automation testing efforts to ensure high product quality
  • Collaborating closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and DevOps to ensure alignment on quality goals
  • Identifying and covering edge cases early in the lifecycle
  • Working with automation engineers to improve CI/CD pipeline integration and coverage
  • Proactively identifying quality risks and owning mitigation planning
  • Leading root cause analyses of production issues and driving systemic improvements
  • Reporting key quality metrics to stakeholders
  • Championing continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and test architecture
  • Participating in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release retrospectives
  • Promoting a strong customer-first quality mindset across engineering
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Proficient experience with Automation (80-90% of day in/out)
  • Solid Selenium/Playwright experience
  • Proficient with Python/Java
  • Jenkins or any other CI/CD
  • Experience in API Automation
