Technical Project Manager Job Description

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of intelligent automation and generative-AI programs.

This involves translating business goals into scalable technical roadmaps while coordinating cross-functional engineering, data science, security, and operations teams to drive innovation, efficiency, and transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Scope Definition: Define project scope, success metrics, and release plans for GenAI, Agentic AI, and RPA solutions.
  • Schedule Management: Build and maintain detailed schedules, sprint plans, risk registers, and dependency maps to ensure timely delivery.
  • Discovery Workshops: Drive discovery workshops to capture business processes and identify automation or agentic opportunities.
  • Model Selection: Partner with solution architects to select models (LLMs, diffusion, hybrid), prompt-engineering patterns, and orchestration frameworks.
  • RPA Bot Development: Oversee development and deployment of RPA bots (UiPath, Automation Anywhere) and AI agents on AWS or GCP.
  • Secure-by-Design Practices: Champion secure-by-design practices, ensuring model governance, data privacy, and Responsible AI compliance.
  • Executive Dashboards: Establish KPIs—cost per transaction, latency, agent autonomy level, bot uptime—and deliver regular executive dashboards.
  • Vendor Contract Management: Manage vendor contracts, SoWs, and budgets effectively.
  • Team Mentoring: Mentor scrum teams, conduct sprint retros, and drive continuous improvement with OKR tracking.
  • Change Management: Coordinate change-management, user training, and hyper-care for production rollouts.
