Job Summary

This exciting role is an opportunity to lead a team of fund accountants and oversee the governance, control, and management of financial reporting processes for designated funds/entities.

You will be responsible for interacting with multiple stakeholders across various locations, including client's Group Finance, tax, and legal functions, as well as Fund Administrators and Auditors.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of private fund structures and reporting requirements, advanced Excel skills, and experience in managing a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fund Accounting and Investor Reporting:
    • Oversight and delivery of monthly/quarterly financial, investor, and regulatory reporting.
    • Lead and support the oversight and delivery of annual financial statement review and audit process.
    • Interaction with Fund Administrators to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial and investor reporting.
    • Review of invoices and payment process.
  • Group Reporting:
    • Final Review of Management Fees and subsequent reporting to client's Group Finance function.
    • Reporting of AUM/FUM information to client's Group Finance function.
  • Administrator Oversight and Process Management:
    • Lead Fund Administrator assessments and feedback.
    • Maintenance of integrity of data and process documentation.
  • People Management:
    • Oversee a team of up to 6 Fund Accountants.
    • Training and development of team members.

Requirements:

  • CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or master's degree in finance/accounting/business.
  • At least 10+ years of PQE in Fund Administration/Private Equity & Venture Capital/Accounting.
  • Proven experience in Private Equity/Alternative Asset Industry.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
