Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our finance team as an assistant. This role will be pivotal in managing the end-to-end financial operations related to the Aadhaar-PAN linking process for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in tracking linking status, collecting necessary documentation, and ensuring all financial entries related to penalties and fees are accurately recorded.
  • Audit and maintain accurate financial data in our systems. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of transactions to ensure data integrity and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Communicate with customers to guide them through the Aadhaar-PAN linking process. Follow up on pending documentation and payments to ensure timely completion.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on the progress of the linking drive, highlighting key metrics, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
  • Identify and suggest improvements to existing financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy, particularly in the context of the Aadhaar-PAN linking project.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel is a must.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Requirements

  • A strong academic background in finance or a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial and accounting software, including Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
