Senior Financial Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Financial Services Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing financial planning and control, as well as managing cash handling functions and preparing financial reports.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of regular financial reports and summarizing accounting activities;
- Cash handling functions for the hotel and reconciling all cash dropped at the front desk;
- Release of necessary payments after verification;
- Preparation of financial reports and submissions to relevant government entities;
- Assistance with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and reporting any variances to concerned department heads;
- Assistance with financial and tax audits;
- Assistance with preparation of tax returns and corporate reporting requirements;
- Assistance with the financial controller in completing the year-end audit process;
- Posting city ledger payments in property management system;
- Follow-up billing and credit card collection documentation and inform controller of any discrepancies;
- Reconciliation of bank statements;
- Preparation of wire transfer confirmations and reimbursable invoices;
- Preparation of credit card authorizations for AMEX, Visa, Master, Diners etc. and send to vendors;
- Verification if credit card service charge is billed correctly for all transactions;
- Review of postings, payments, and revenue on a daily basis;
- Reconciliation of open account status items;
- Analysis of revenues, commissions, and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis;
- Maintenance of vendor's permanent files, contracts, and certificates of insurance.
