IT Security Specialist

We are seeking an IT Security Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding sensitive data and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.

The role demands strong expertise in threat management, data protection, cloud security, and regulatory compliance with hands-on technical knowledge across the full cybersecurity stack.

  • Develop and implement enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategies, frameworks, and controls.
  • Monitor and respond to cyber threats and incidents using SIEM and SOC processes.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing (VAPT), and red/blue/purple team exercises.
  • Perform digital forensics, root cause analysis, and incident response lifecycle management.
  • Define and enforce policies for data privacy, identity and access management, and data loss prevention.
  • Secure infrastructure across network, endpoint, application, database, and cloud environments.
  • Implement security controls for cloud providers, containers, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Manage and tune security tools such as firewalls, WAF, IDS/IPS, EDR, SIEM, SOAR, and CASB.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as IRDAI, RBI, GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI-DSS.
Technical Skills Required:
  • Network security: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, Zero Trust, SD-WAN, and Network Access Control.
  • Endpoint security: Endpoint Detection and Response solutions.
  • Application security: Secure coding practices, OWASP Top 10, SAST, DAST, RASP, and API security.
  • Cloud security: Cloud Security Posture Management, Cloud Workload Protection, and Cloud Access Security Broker.
  • Identity and access management: Identity and Access Management systems, Privilege Access Management, and Single Sign-On.
  • Data protection: Data Loss Prevention solutions, encryption, key management, and tokenization.
  • Security operations: Security Information and Event Management systems, Security Orchestration Automation and Response, and Threat Hunting.
  • Threat and vulnerability management: Vulnerability scanners, penetration testing tools, and risk assessment frameworks.
  • Incident response and forensics: Digital forensic analysis tools and incident response planning.
  • DevSecOps: Container security scanning, CI/CD pipeline security, and Infrastructure as Code scanning.
Advanced Areas:
  • Red teaming: Adversary simulation and MITRE ATT&CK framework.
  • Malware analysis: Reverse engineering and sandboxing.
  • Blockchain and IoT security: Secure protocols and device hardening.
  • Ai/ml security: Model poisoning and adversarial attacks.
  • Threat intelligence: Threat Intelligence Platform and CTI feeds integration.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CEH, OSCP, OSWE, GPEN, CCSP, CCSK, AZ-500, AWS Security Specialty, and ISO 27001 LA/LI, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR compliance certifications.
