We are seeking a highly skilled VLSI Chip Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance, low-power, and cost-effective integrated circuits using cutting-edge technologies.
As a VLSI Chip Designer, you will conceptualize and design circuits based on functional and performance requirements, create and maintain design documentation, simulate designs, and troubleshoot issues. You will also optimize designs for power, performance, area, and cost (PPA) and work with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you must have:
- A strong understanding of digital and analog circuit design principles
- Proficiency in hardware description languages (HDLs) like Verilog and VHDL
- Familiarity with CAD and EDA tools for VLSI design
- Knowledge of semiconductor physics and fabrication processes
Additionally, you should have experience with tools like Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys tools, and other relevant EDA tools. A bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field is required. We also prefer candidates with chip tape-out experience.
