Product Design Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Product Design Leader to join our team. As a key member of the product leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping the future of our products by designing and releasing intuitive and powerful solutions that empower both internal teams and external users.

You will lead a team of talented product designers, setting a vision for user experience across our products. Reporting directly into the Chief Product and Design Officer, you will be a key voice in the product leadership team, translating complex capabilities and solutions into clear, compelling, and valuable experiences.

This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, with expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. You must have a proven track record of using data to inform design decisions, and excellent relationship management skills working in a technical environment with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in product design within a technology or product-centric company, with a strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Strategy - Define and drive the holistic design vision for our products, ensuring a consistent, high-quality user experience across internal and external applications.
  • Team Leadership - Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in product management, engineering, and data science to align on product strategy, goals, and roadmaps.
  • User Advocacy - Advocate for the user through research, testing, and feedback, ensuring design decisions are informed by a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience leading a team of designers who design and ship AI-powered products or features.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, with a track record of using data to inform design decisions.
