As a Senior Banking Executive at SVC Bank, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a branch, including staff management, customer service, teller operations, loan processing, and compliance with banking regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking, with a minimum of 8 years of experience as an Assistant Branch Manager or Branch Manager in a commercial or co-operative bank. They will also have expertise in branch operation handling Finacle Core Banking Solution and be proactive in acquiring new business for the bank and deepening existing customer relationships.

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving business targets of the branch, providing efficient customer service, and ensuring that branch operations comply with all regulations and laws. They will also be well-versed in banking products, regulations, and best practices, and be able to develop and implement strategic plans, manage staff, handle customer complaints, and ensure efficiency and profitability.

The role will involve establishing and monitoring branch goals and objectives, developing strategies to increase customer loyalty, grow the bank's customer base, and increase revenue. The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that the branch meets its financial targets, ensuring that customer service is exemplary, and identifying and managing risks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of branch banking and branch operations, as well as good communication skills. They will also be able to work closely with other bank departments to ensure that the branch is running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of a branch, including staff management, customer service, teller operations, loan processing, and compliance with banking regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase customer loyalty, grow the bank's customer base, and increase revenue.
  • Ensure that branch operations comply with all regulations and laws.
  • Manage staff, handle customer complaints, and ensure efficiency and profitability.
  • Establish and monitor branch goals and objectives.
  • Identify and manage risks.

Requisite Qualifications, Skill Set, and Experience:

  • Graduate in any faculty. CA/CS/ICWA/MBA will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 8 plus years of experience as Assistant Branch Manager / Branch Manager in any Commercial / Co-operative Bank.
  • Expertise in Branch operation handling Finacle Core Banking Solution.
  • Proactive and resourceful in acquiring new business for the Bank and deepening of existing customer relationships of the Bank.
  • Good understanding and experience of branch banking / branch operations.
  • Well-versed with business development activities in a Bank.
  • Good communication skills.
