Our organization is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our R&D efforts in power electronics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving innovation, product excellence, and technology leadership in Motor Controllers, Power Electronics, and Chargers for EV 2W/3W/4W OEMs. They will oversee the design, development, validation, and industrialization of Motor Controllers (BLDC, PMSM, IPM, etc.), On-board Chargers, Off-board Chargers / DC Fast Chargers, DC-DC Converters, and other Power Electronics modules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with AIS, ARAI, ISO 26262, ASIL, IEC, and automotive-grade EMI/EMC standards.
  • Drive in-house competency in areas such as Motor control algorithms (FOC, trapezoidal control, vector control), Embedded systems & firmware development (AutoSAR, model-based design), Simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS), Thermal management, PCB design, EMI/EMC compliance.
  • Rationalize and optimize the existing product portfolio for scalability, cost-efficiency, and platform commonality.
Requirements:
  • B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or related disciplines with over 20+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven track record of successful product launches in the EV or automotive electronics domain.
  • Deep expertise in power electronics, motor drive systems, charger architecture, and high-voltage systems.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle electrical architecture, CAN / LIN / UDS / ISO 15118 protocols.
  • Expertise in hardware design (analog/digital), PCB layout, and thermal and electromagnetic compatibility.
  • Proven experience in design validation, HIL/SIL testing, and reliability engineering.
  • Ability to leverage model-based development (MBD) and digital twin methodologies.
  • Prior experience working with EV OEMs, Component suppliers, or automotive R&D centers.
