Job Description

The human resources payroll manager is responsible for overseeing the entire payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees. This includes managing employee data, benefits administration, tax compliance, and vendor management.

  • Manage HR systems from hire to retire data management, identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
  • Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing, including salaries, wages, deductions, and benefits for APAC countries, coordinating with vendors and validating full and final settlements.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable payroll laws and regulations, labor laws, and company policies, addressing inter-departmental discrepancies.
  • Optimize cost and minimize risk by managing vendors and services according to SLA and timelines.
  • Proactively ensure optimal resource utilization to support business-as-usual (BAU) and global HR projects.
  • Address and resolve employee payroll queries and issues promptly and accurately.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in human resources or MBA.
  • 15-20 years of experience in HR, focusing on HR operations, payroll, and compliance, preferably in APAC countries.
  • 5+ years of team management experience, handling teams of 5-10 people.
  • Proficiency in HRM systems such as Workday/Oracle.
  • Effective communication at all organizational levels, locally and globally.
  • Experience in a global matrix organization preferred.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence stakeholders and vendors.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
