Senior Financial Modeling Professional

We seek a seasoned financial modeling expert to develop, run and manage project finance-based financial models.

As a Senior Financial Modeling Professional, you will be responsible for building and maintaining complex financial models for Solar PV and Energy Storage projects. Your expertise will involve evaluating RFPs to populate required assumptions and structuring them into the financial model used for bidding purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and run project finance-based financial models for Solar PV and Energy Storage projects
  • Evaluate RFPs to populate required assumptions and structure them into the financial model used for bidding purposes
  • Collate and coordinate inputs from various teams including Development, Project Financing, Finance (Accounting and Tax), EPC, and others as required for populating assumptions and structure in the financial model
  • Support Development, EPC, and Financing teams in running case runs and scenarios to seek optimal economic benefits and analyze key drivers
  • Assist model auditors with the model audit process as and when required
  • Assist lenders with the model during project finance process as and when required
  • Take complete ownership of financial models; support the bidding team on all matters related to financial modeling
  • Maintain and update financial models pre- and post-financial close
  • Prepare presentations related to financial analysis
  • Train and supervise incoming junior modelers
  • Other tasks assigned by senior executives of the company

Qualification Criteria:
  • A business, finance or accounting degree from a reputable institution
  • A proven track record in building, developing, and running project finance-based financial models
  • The ability to develop, run, and take complete ownership of project finance-based financial models independently
  • Hands-on execution capability with a can-do attitude and strong passion for financial modeling
  • The ability to work in a team environment and engage in cross-functional collaboration
  • A recognized university degree - Bachelor or above
