Graphic Design Team Lead Job

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Graphic Design Team Lead to oversee the production of print media materials, including brochures, catalogs, flyers, and promotional communications.

This role involves managing a team of Graphics Designers and QAs that create production ready assets for digital and print media.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of designers and quality assurance specialists in creating high-quality print media assets.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to drive creativity and productivity.
  • Oversee the production process for all print media materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Ensure all design projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment on design projects.
  • Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to guarantee accuracy and adherence to specifications.
  • Conduct regular sample quality checks on design outputs to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
  • Address any design discrepancies or quality issues promptly and effectively.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to maintain quality standards.
  • Create templates and style guides as required for new projects.
  • Develop and implement strategic design operations plans to enhance team productivity, cost-effectiveness, and overall project success.
  • Help execute standardized workflows and processes for print media design projects, from concept to final delivery.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to keep the team at the forefront of design innovation.
  • Must have good conceptualization skills and extensive experience in Print-media design.
  • Flexibility to working in shifts for 1-2 weeks in a month for critical deliverables.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for design operations, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for all design-related inquiries and requests.
  • Need to have effective English communication skills (written and oral) to be able to discuss designs/design process with the customers.
  • Manage and prioritize project resources, including team, and timelines.
  • Ensure cost-effective use of resources without compromising on quality.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 6-7 years of experience in graphic design and print media, with extensive experience in creating promotional content (flyers, brochures etc)/e-learning/publishing house content domain or any other related domain
  • Strong understanding of print media design principles and production processes.
  • Expert in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
