Senior Valuation Specialist

As a Senior Valuation Specialist, you will lead complex financial valuation projects and work closely with senior team members to deliver high-quality results.

  • You will be responsible for analyzing historical financial data, identifying business trends, and challenging assumptions related to future financial projections.
  • Assist in the development of sophisticated financial models, including discount rates (WACC, IRR, WARA, etc.)
  • Conduct comprehensive financial statement analysis, market research, and industry comparative analysis
  • Develop industry growth estimates, construct and review valuation models, and present findings to internal stakeholders and clients
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree or certifications such as MBA, CA, or CFA are desirable
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience performing fair value valuations in a public accounting, consulting, or investment banking environment
  • Strong understanding of financial valuation theory, methodologies, and traditional valuation methods such as discounted cash flow method, guideline public company method, and guidance transaction method
  • Experience working with financial databases, including Capital IQ and Bloomberg
  • Excellent technical skills in Excel, including building, analyzing, and reviewing complex financial models
