Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supplier Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and select suitable suppliers based on factors such as price, quality, reliability, and other relevant criteria to ensure the best value for our organization.
  2. Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure favorable conditions.
  3. Purchasing Order Management: Coordinate with internal stakeholders to generate purchase orders, review requisitions, and ensure accuracy of orders placed.
  4. Supply Chain Monitoring: Track order status to ensure timely delivery of materials and services, resolving any issues or delays that may arise.
  5. Relationship Management: Maintain effective relationships with suppliers, addressing concerns or issues that may arise, and working collaboratively to resolve them.
  6. Procurement Optimization: Implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to optimize procurement operations and achieve greater efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Proficient in using procurement software and MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
