Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement cutting-edge computer vision and ML models for satellite imagery.
  2. Develop and deploy AI solutions on constrained environments such as embedded systems and on-board devices.
  3. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions into our broader pipeline.
  4. Stay ahead of emerging trends in Edge AI, ML, and remote sensing, and translate them into practical solutions for space applications.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in data science, computer vision, and machine learning, with demonstrated hands-on experience in these areas. They will also possess excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work independently in a remote-first setup.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • 3-8 years of experience in data science, with a strong focus on computer vision and machine learning.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Python, experience with frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch, and a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and software engineering principles.
  • Experience with architectures such as CNNs, ViTs, GANs, and foundational models is a plus.
  • Familiarity with satellite imagery and remote sensing is preferred but not mandatory if strong ML background.
  • Good understanding of embedded systems from the perspective of deploying AI.
  • Edge AI Focus: Experience or keen interest in deploying models in constrained environments is required.
