Job Overview:


Our company seeks a skilled Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Java and open-source tools to ensure product quality.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop automated test scripts for product quality assurance

- Develop and maintain automation frameworks supporting functional, regression, and sanity test suites

- Collaborate with development teams to understand product features and user stories for effective test planning

- Execute automated and manual test cases and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement

- Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation and backend testing (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB)

- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman

- Manage defect lifecycle and test progress using JIRA in an Agile Scrum environment

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Hands-on experience in Automation Testing using Selenium, Cucumber, and Playwright

- Proficient in Java (Java 8 or later preferred) for writing UI automation scripts

- Strong experience in SQL and database testing with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB

- Good knowledge of HCM applications and Payroll management tools is highly desirable

- Experience in API testing using Postman

- Strong background in manual testing: functional, regression, sanity, and black-box testing

- Familiarity with Agile Scrum framework and tools such as JIRA

- Certification in ISTQB or other relevant quality assurance methodologies is a plus
