
Cloud Sales Leader

We are seeking a senior sales professional to lead our cloud business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who understands the cloud ecosystem, has hands-on experience in selling cloud solutions, and knows how to drive growth.
About the Role:
As Cloud Sales Director, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, building long-term relationships with clients, and ensuring day-to-day operations within the cloud vertical run smoothly.
The successful candidate will have 5-6 years of relevant experience in cloud sales, or business development, and a solid understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent) and their business use-cases.
You will work closely with delivery and operations teams for smooth project handoffs and timelines, flag potential delays or client escalations early, and resolve proactively.
Main Responsibilities:
1. **Sales & Business Development:**
- Own and drive cloud sales targets across key accounts and new business
- Identify, qualify, and convert leads into long-term client partnerships
- Build proposals, present solutions, handle objections, and close deals
2. **Client Engagement & Account Management:**
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Build credibility and long-term trust through consistent delivery and communication
- Identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business
3. **Team Leadership:**
- Lead, mentor, and manage a growing team of cloud consultants and sales professionals
- Set clear goals, monitor progress, and provide timely feedback
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous learning
4. **Operational & Reporting Oversight:**
- Maintain and manage accurate sales pipeline data using tools like Excel, CRM, or dashboards
- Share regular performance reports with leadership and highlight key risks or opportunities
