Job Description

Opportunity to join a leading renewable investor and developer company as Financial Modelling Manager / Senior Financial Modelling Manager.

Location: remote working, India

Responsible Region: Global

  1. Develop comprehensive financial models for Solar PV and Energy Storage projects
  2. Evaluate RFPs to populate relevant assumptions and structure into the financial model used for bidding processes
  3. Collate and coordinate inputs from various teams including Development, Project Financing, Finance, EPC and others for populating assumptions and structure in the financial model
  4. Support Development, EPC and Financing teams in running case runs and scenarios to seek optimal economic benefits and analyze key drivers
  5. Assist model auditors with model audit process as required
  6. Assist lenders with model during project finance process as required
  7. Own complete financial model; support bidding team on all matters related to financial modelling
  8. Maintain and update financial models pre and post financial close
  9. Prepare presentations related to financial analysis
  10. Train and supervise incoming junior modeler
  11. Perform other tasks assigned by senior executives
Qualification Criteria

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  1. A business, finance or accounting degree from a reputable institution
  2. At least 10 years of experience in building, developing and running project finance based financial models
  3. At least 4-5 years of financial modelling experience in solar/renewable projects
  4. Hands-on execution capability with a can-do attitude and strong passion for financial modelling
  5. Ability to work in a team environment and engage in cross-functional collaboration
  6. Recognized university degree - Bachelor or above
