About the Role:
We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Sales Representative to join our team and generate successful leads. This role focuses on Business Development especially in cloud environments either in Azure or AWS or Both. The ideal candidate should have experience in working with CTOs, CXOs, and VPs to understand their current demands and offer tailored solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential leads through targeted research and outreach within the cloud services sector.
- Client Engagement: Engage with CXOs and VPs to discuss their needs, challenges, and how Waferwire's solutions can address their demands.
- Solution Selling: Present and articulate the value of our cloud offerings, focusing on Azure and AWS capabilities to meet client requirements.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain and update the CRM system with lead information, activity tracking, and sales forecasts.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitor offerings, and potential client needs to position our solutions effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and technical teams to develop tailored pitches and proposals that resonate with high-level executives.
- Follow-Up: Manage ongoing communications with prospects, ensuring timely follow-ups and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales activities, challenges, and opportunities to management.
Day-to-Day Challenges:
- Navigating complex organizational structures to reach key decision-makers.
- Addressing the evolving demands and priorities of executives in the cloud space.
- Competing with established vendors and differentiating our offerings.
- Staying up to date with rapid technological advancements and market changes in cloud services.
- Balancing time between prospecting new leads and nurturing existing relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in inside sales or business development, specifically in cloud services (Azure, AWS, or both).
- Proven track record of engaging with senior executives and understanding their business needs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess market trends.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
