We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced intellectual property professional to join our team as a Lead Associate.

In this role, you will play a key part in managing the drafting of patent applications for leading technology companies across various sectors including software, AI/ML, wireless communication, networking, and semiconductors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft high-quality patent applications that align with clients' innovation strategies
  • Conduct inventor interviews, manage email correspondence, and participate in calls with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment
  • Collaborate closely with the team, provide guidance, review work, and ensure deliverables meet client expectations in terms of quality and timelines
  • Stay updated on evolving USPTO/MPEP case laws and regulatory changes, sharing knowledge with the team and ensuring compliance in all patent-related activities

Requirements:

  • Expertise in patent drafting across a range of technology domains
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to successful completion
  • Ability to quickly understand and grasp complex/cutting-edge technologies
  • Familiarity with patent processes and a keen understanding of USPTO/MPEP regulations and case laws
  • Experience in reviewing teams' work to ensure quality and timely project delivery

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, or Computer Science
  • IP experience: 3-5 years in patent drafting
