About the Role

  • A leading provider of event marketing and management solutions is seeking an IT Professional with 4-12 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate excels in Snowflake architecture, data warehousing, data lakes, serverless/cloud automation, and AI/ML concepts.
  • The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, and apply expertise in Snowflake architecture (compute, storage, security, data sharing).
  • Key Responsibilities include architecting and delivering end-to-end data solutions on Snowflake, demonstrating deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, and applying deep expertise in Snowflake architecture.
  • Additional responsibilities include using Snowflake native load utilities for data ingestion and transformation, developing and managing API-based integrations and automation, and leading data governance, quality, security, and compliance efforts.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for optimizing performance and managing costs, overseeing Snowflake infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and monitoring, and acting as primary stakeholder contact to drive meetings and translate business needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's/master's in computer science, IT, or related field.
  • 4-12 years of Snowflake Data Cloud experience.
  • Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture and ecosystem.
  • Strong grasp of data warehousing concepts and diverse data structures.
  • Expertise in Snowflake native load utilities, API integration and automation experience, and data governance, security, and compliance background.
  • Performance optimization and cost management skills, experience with Snowflake infrastructure management, and excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Innovative, AI-driven mindset, hands-on Python for data engineering/automation, knowledge of AI, LLMs, and Snowflake AI features (e.g., Cortex).
  • Experience with data lake frameworks and serverless technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with data modelling, Python, Pyspark, and warehousing best practices.
  • Exposure to MLOps, AI/ML pipelines, or deploying AI models.
  • Snowflake or relevant cloud certifications.
