Accounting and Finance Expert

About the Role:

  • Responsibility for the timely posting of accounting entries and maintaining accurate books of accounts.
  • Ensuring the maintenance of petty cash entries and bank reconciliations is up-to-date.
  • Preparing working papers and filing GST/TDS returns in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Generating sales invoices in the ERP system and sending them to customers in a timely manner.
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring smooth financial operations.
  • Coordinating travel and hotel bookings while adhering to prescribed budgets.
  • Handling employee reimbursements in accordance with company policies.
  • Responsible for maintaining stock levels of office supplies, pantry items, and HR joining kits, ensuring timely payments to vendors.
  • Ensuring office utilities such as AC, internet, electricity, and water are functioning properly and payments are made on time.
  • Renewing AMC contracts for AC, pest control, coffee machines, and other essential services, and ensuring regular servicing is performed.
  • Maintaining expense bills, vendor invoices, and other documents in both physical and scanned formats.
  • Assisting in the preparation of final accounts and supporting auditors during statutory and transfer pricing audits.
  • Performing any additional accounting or administrative tasks as required by the organization.

Qualifications

Candidates should hold a graduate or postgraduate degree in accounting or commerce.
