Job Description

Our team is seeking a skilled engineer to develop and support standard cell libraries from scratch. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital design principles, analog/mixed-signal design methodologies, and experience with EDA tools.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Developing the standard cell library from scratch and supporting existing libraries;
  • Creating PPA tradeoffs between different cell circuit architectures in realistic usage environments;
  • Collaborating with layout teams to define floor plans and layout guidelines for schematics; conducting layout reviews to ensure optimum designs;
  • Designing and implementing combinatorial, power management, and sequential circuits;
  • Running equivalence verification using ESPCV;
  • Verifying the functionality, performance, and power of developed circuits;
  • Characterizing and generating views of libraries with custom PVT corners;
  • Modeling new and existing cells to support industry-wide PnR, simulation, and signoff tools;
  • Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of work, design flows, and reports;
  • Automating manual tasks to reduce overall time and effort;
  • Working with views like LEF, NLDM, CCS, and LIB files.

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
  • Familiarity with EDA tools and the ability to learn new ones quickly.
