We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sustainability Consultant to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a global brand and lead the ESG & Sustainability segment.
About the Role:
The candidate will be responsible for facilitating business decisions by working with clients on ESG, Sustainability, and Climate risk. They should have a good understanding of ESG principles, climate risks, global reporting standards, and key issues impacting sustainable finance.
- Experience of working with multilaterals such as the World Bank, International Finance Corporation, GIZ, Kfw on aspects of climate change mitigation, adaptation, and decarbonization.
- Expertise in sustainability reporting standards such as GRI, TCFD, SASB, BRSR, IFRS, SBTi double materiality, etc.
- Ability to create detailed reports across multiple sectors on ESG indicators and linking the same to operating and financial metrics.
- Experience in ESG integration within supply chain including assessment of tier 1, 2, and 3 suppliers.
- Sustainability research and analysis of companies across multiple sectors on ESG indicators. Exposure to sectors such as Power, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Auto, Metals and Mining, Cement, Chemical, and Pharmaceuticals, etc., from an ESG/Sustainability perspective is desired.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in a related field such as Environmental Science, Business Management, or Finance.
- 10+ years of experience, majority of which should be in ESG consulting.
- Strong knowledge of ESG & Sustainability topics and trends.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
