Job Description

Senior Network Engineer plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing and maintaining the network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity across LAN, WAN, Data Center environments. This individual is responsible for providing high-level technical support, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of Cisco, Dell, and HP switches, routers, and other networking equipment.

This role requires an in-depth understanding of complex network topologies, routing protocols, and network security measures. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in utilizing diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, and Cisco Prime to identify problems and optimize network performance.

The successful applicant will have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network performance and connectivity issues. Additionally, this individual must be proficient in implementing and managing security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security measures to safeguard the network infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include assisting in the design, planning, and execution of network upgrades, migrations, and deployments. This role also involves collaborating with other teams, including system administrators, security, and application teams, to ensure smooth network operations and resolve cross-functional issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in network engineering
  • Deep understanding of network infrastructures and expertise in supporting complex network environments
  • Proficiency in configuring, monitoring, and maintaining Cisco, Dell, and HP switches, routers, and other networking equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network performance and connectivity issues
  • Knowledge of diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, and Cisco Prime
  • Experience in implementing and managing security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security measures
