Job Description

As a Finance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing daily sales reports and circulating them among Heads of Departments and owners.
  • Running day-end in Jonas System and generating necessary reports by departments/outlets.
  • Auditing all revenue transactions for accuracy, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Preparing and issuing management reports as required.
  • Reconciling credit cards daily and posting to the system.
  • Ensuring proper backup and authorization for rebates and discounts.
  • Collecting and counting cashier envelopes daily with a witness.
  • Recording all amounts received in the General Cashier Daily Report.
  • Managing and reconciling petty cash, disburse cash after verifying requests, and maintaining a register of petty cash advances.
  • Supervising outlet cashiering staff to ensure effective operations.
  • Ensuring cash floats are maintained at optimum levels.
  • Conducting monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assisting with financial reporting.
  • Assisting the Chief Accountant with annual and interim audits.
  • Maintaining proper filing and ensuring adherence to record retention policies.
  • Supporting the finance team with general accounting duties and financial documentation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-5 years of related experience in a similar role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills

Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Frequent sitting, use of hands, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasional standing, walking, and performing tasks that require physical exertion.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

We are looking for someone with:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and property management systems.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to assess financial information.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
