Job Summary

The primary goal of this position is to oversee the daily operations of a fitness center, manage staff members, coordinate training programs, and ensure the facility meets the needs of its members.

  • Develop effective sales strategies to attract new clients and increase revenue.
  • Supervise group exercise and personal training sessions to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all members.
Key Responsibilities

The Fitness Manager will be responsible for the following key areas:

  • Staff Management: Supervising and guiding staff members to ensure they meet the expectations of their roles.
  • Training Programs: Coordinating and managing training programs to cater to the diverse needs of the members.
  • Facility Management: Ensuring that the fitness center facilities are well-maintained and meet the safety standards set by regulatory bodies.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Knowledge and Skills:
    • Familiarity with the fitness industry and its current trends.
    • Understanding of exercise physiology and its application in designing workout programs.
  • Leadership and Management Skills:
    • Excellent leadership and management skills to effectively guide and supervise staff members.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with members and colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Sports Management, or related field.
  • Certification in Personal Training or Group Fitness Instruction.
