Financial Modelling Manager

 

Job Description:

  • Building and Running Financial Models: We are seeking an experienced Financial Modelling Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, developing and running financial models for solar PV and energy storage projects.
  • Evaluating RFPs: You will evaluate Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to populate required and relevant assumptions and structure into the financial model used for bidding process.
  • Collaboration with Teams: You will collate and coordinate inputs from various teams including development, project financing, finance, EPC and others as required for the purposes of populating assumptions and structure in the financial model.
  • Supporting Teams: You will support development, EPC and financing teams in running case runs and scenarios to seek optimal economic benefits and analyze key drivers.
  • Model Audit and Lender Support: You will assist model auditors with model audit process as and when required and lend assistance to lenders with model during project finance process as and when required.
  • Complete Ownership of Financial Model: You will have complete ownership of financial model; supporting the bidding team on all matters related to financial modelling.
  • Maintenance and Updates: You will maintain and update financial models pre and post financial close.
  • Presentation and Training: You will prepare presentation related to the financial analysis and train and supervise incoming junior modeler.
  • Other Tasks: You will perform other tasks assigned by senior executives of the company.

 

Qualification Criteria:

  1. Degree and Experience: A business, finance or accounting degree from a reputed institution and at least 10 years of experience in building, developing and running project finance based financial models.
  2. Financial Modelling Experience: At least 4-5 years of financial modelling experience in solar / renewable projects.
  3. Execution Capability: Hands-on execution capability with can-do attitude and strong passion for financial modelling.
  4. Team Player: Ability to work in a team environment and engage in cross-functional collaboration.
  5. Education: Recognized university degree - Bachelor or above.
