Land Acquisition Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional to spearhead our land sourcing and acquisition strategy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and securing land parcels in targeted micro-markets, evaluating feasibility, engaging with brokers and landowners, and facilitating the entire acquisition and closing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Select and evaluate land parcels in pre-defined target micro-markets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, landowners, developers, and other intermediaries.
  • Track market opportunities and upcoming transactions.
  • Conduct due diligence, including land title, zoning, FSI potential, ready reckoner rates, and development control regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal analysts to prepare feasibility studies, financial models, and market assessments.
  • Evaluate alignment of land parcels with our product design and business model.
  • Facilitate meetings between key stakeholders, including legal, finance, and management teams.
  • Cordinate with legal counsel and consultants to ensure smooth execution of deals.
  • Ensure documentation and compliance with closure of acquisition transactions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Architecture, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in land acquisition, real estate development, or investment.
  • Strong knowledge of local regulations and land acquisition processes.
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing and closing land transactions.
  • Established network with brokers, landowners, and developers in Thrissur (mandatory).
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
