Supply Chain Consultant Job Description

As a supply chain consultant, you will work closely with clients to assess their supply chain needs and develop solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Conduct assessments of client supply chains to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement solutions to address identified issues, including process redesign and technology implementation.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and develop tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, delivery, and support functions.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8–15 years of experience in supply chain or a related field.
  • A degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Ariba, Coupa, and other supply chain tools.
