Job Overview:

As a financial strategist, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and profitability by delivering actionable insights and supporting key decision-making across the organization.

This high-impact role combines technical financial acumen with a customer-focused mindset, providing insight into multiple business areas.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive financial reports, analysing and optimising pricing strategies, and delivering ongoing reports on financial and operational metrics.

With your analytical and problem-solving skills, you will collaborate across teams and communicate insights effectively to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain management reports covering financial flows, revenue, expenses, etc.
  • Analyse and optimise pricing strategies to maximise profitability and market competitiveness.
  • Provide leadership with deep insights on actual performance, including variance and trend analysis.
  • Drive visibility into financial performance; identify and implement gap-closing strategies in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Analyse revenue and cost metrics, and work with functional teams to enhance revenue and reduce costs.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Chartered Accountant with at least 5 years of work experience, including experience in business finance/financial planning and analysis.
  • Industry experience: Experience in financial services or fintech is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to deliver independently with limited supervision, and the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate insights effectively.
