Automation Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automation Manager to lead automation initiatives for Special Purpose Machines in low voltage switchgear product manufacturing.

  • Lead automation projects for design, development, installation, and maintenance of special purpose machines in low voltage switchgear manufacturing.
  • Drive continuous improvement in production processes through automation and advanced manufacturing techniques.
  • Develop and optimize PLC logic, HMI interfaces, motion control, and sensor integration for machines.
  • Design, troubleshoot, and optimize pneumatic, hydraulic, and material feeding systems in coordination with mechanical and electrical teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming, Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, etc.
  • Proficiency in sensors, actuators, SCADA, HMI, and industrial communication protocols.
  • Deep understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Hands-on experience in material feeding, pick-and-place, conveyors, and robotic integration.
  • Familiarity with machine design fundamentals, CAD tools, and mechanical troubleshooting.
