Senior Associate Job Description

A dynamic opportunity has arisen for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Associate to lead our GST Advisory & Litigation team in Aurangabad.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in indirect tax advisory/litigation services. They will be responsible for conducting thorough research and analysis of legal provisions to provide expert advice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and analysis of legal provisions to provide expert advice.
  • Prepare and draft advises, opinions, and compliance reports for clients.
  • Analyze client data to estimate the impact of taxes on business transactions.
  • Build scenarios to identify the most tax-efficient business model.
  • Contribute to articles, monographs, and other publications.
  • Provide exceptional client service, proactively identifying and discussing technical issues while considering firm risk.
  • Handle tax matters, including preparing submissions, responding to notices, and representing clients in appeals.

Requirements:

  • We are looking for a Chartered Accountant (CA) or a Law Graduate (LLB) from a reputable institution, with a strong academic record.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are essential.
  • A good personality and academic background are also required.
