Job Title: Export Coordinator

The primary responsibility of an Export Coordinator lies in coordinating with the sales team and planning shipments based on customer requirements.

This involves ensuring seamless communication between various stakeholders, including manufacturing sites, freight forwarders, custom brokers, and customers. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in handling both LCL and FCL shipments, as well as proficient in working on ERP systems like TCS ION or SAP HANA.

A strong understanding of export documentation, including certificates of origin, insurance certificates, and bank realization certificates, is also essential. Additionally, the candidate should be able to prepare MIS reports and verify post-shipment documents within stipulated time frames.

Key qualifications for this role include a graduate degree in any field, a minimum of two years' experience in export coordination at an executive level, and excellent communication skills. The ability to negotiate with freight forwarders for freight rates and handle customer queries efficiently is also crucial.

Responsibilities:

  • Checking daily stock and releasing the daily invoicing plan
  • Preparation of pre/export documents
  • Coordinating with manufacturing sites for shipment movement
  • Negotiation with Freight Forwarder for Freight rates
  • Coordinating with Freight forwarder, Transporter & Custom Broker for smooth sailing of shipment
  • Shipment intimation to the Customers
  • Verification of post-shipment documents and submitting documents to banks within the stipulated time period
  • Handling Customer Queries
  • Handling all audit-related queries
  • Well versed in handling both LCL and FCL shipments
  • Complete knowledge of preparing documents under Letter of Credit and LC Clause
  • Proficient in working on ERP system – TCS ION/SAP HANA
  • Preparing Certificate of Origin/GSP, Insurance certificate and bank realization certificates
  • Liaising with shipping companies & Custom Broker's
  • Preparing MIS reports
  • Check and close IDPMS and EDPMS open transactions

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in any field
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in export coordination Executive level
