Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Associate to join our team. As a Security Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and integrity of our facilities and assets.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT security, with experience in data loss prevention and incident response. They will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining privacy policies and procedures, as well as supporting the execution of information security and privacy inherent to new engagements.

The successful candidate will also be able to identify technological opportunities and evaluate the information security and privacy impacts on end points. They will prevent and deter theft and fraud through physical presence and engagement, and support the security team by carrying out day-to-day operational tasks utilizing specialized applications, tools, and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain privacy policies and procedures
  • Support the execution of information security and privacy inherent to new engagements
  • Identify technological opportunities and evaluate the information security and privacy impacts on end points
  • Prevent and deter theft and fraud through physical presence and engagement
  • Support the security team by carrying out day-to-day operational tasks

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong background in IT security, with experience in data loss prevention and incident response
  • Knowledge of EDR tools such as Trend Micro, AV, and Symantec
  • Ability to learn and understand fire and security systems, including EAS systems
  • Understanding of third-party risk management considerations, incident response, and crisis management processes
  • Credentialed or trained in cyber and privacy (e.g., CISSP)
  • Credentialed or trained in CCNA, routing and switching, security
