Job Title: Backend Developer

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining back-end systems that support our maritime operations platform.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of backend services with frontend applications, databases, and other core systems.

Your expertise in backend technologies will be crucial in delivering high-performance and scalable solutions that meet the evolving needs of the maritime sector.

  • Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and efficient software architecture.
  • Take full ownership of the product lifecycle, from conceptualization through development and deployment.
  • Implement Test-Driven Development practices, including writing comprehensive unit tests.
  • Build reusable, modular code and libraries to promote efficiency and consistency across projects.
  • Optimize applications for maximum performance, speed, and scalability.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices.

Key Skills:

  • Strong programming foundation in Python.
  • Experience in developing web applications and APIs.
  • Considerable expertise in secure software development.
  • In-depth knowledge of Source Code Repository and experience working with Git.
  • Hands on experience in DB design & Architecture.
  • Knowledge of caching techniques and utilities.
  • Experience working on Apache, Nginx, or any other web/app server.
  • Experience in containerization tool -Docker.
