The Production Coordinator is responsible for coordinating with cross-functional teams to prioritize and schedule production activities, manage inventory levels, and oversee the implementation of quality control processes.

This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, think critically, and make sound decisions that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with design teams to verify drawing accuracy and completeness
  • Validate bill of materials (BOMs), datasheets, and 3D models
  • Manage component libraries (in PLM or ERP systems)
  • Develop detailed technical specifications for mechanical/electrical components
  • Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, quality, and production teams
  • Interface with suppliers to obtain technical data and ensure specification adherence
  • Support efforts to standardize components and reduce part proliferation
  • Ensure specifications meet relevant international standards (ISO, RoHS, REACH, etc.)
  • Maintain up-to-date technical documentation in internal systems
  • Handle engineering change requests (ECRs) and change orders (ECOs)
  • Update and communicate specification changes across departments
