Job Overview:

Credit Review Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Credit Review Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of large corporations and analyzing financial statements, performance, and trend analysis to determine their credit risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth credit risk assessments for General Corporate clients
  • Analyze financial statements, performance metrics, and trend analysis to evaluate the creditworthiness of large corporates
  • Manage client portfolios and assign ratings based on credit risk assessments
  • Prepare comprehensive credit reports, including profiles of counterparties, key rating considerations, credit risk assessments, and outlooks
  • Develop forecast models (projections and DCF models are a plus) to support credit decisions
  • Assess business models, identify strengths, weaknesses, risks, revenue models, and corporate structures of counterparties

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-12 years of experience in credit review/appraisal, credit rating, report writing, capital structure, EBITDA, leverage ratio, and financial statement analysis for mid-large size corporates or building financial models, LBO models, DCF/relative valuations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Highly analytical mind with attention to detail and ability to understand complex financial concepts
