About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale cloud-based systems.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Openshift, and a strong understanding of containerization technologies, CI/CD tools and practices, and networking and security within containerized environments.

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain Openshift environments
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of the Openshift platform
  • Monitor and optimize cluster performance
  • Hands on Experience on ODF (Ceph storage)
  • Implement security best practices within the cluster
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Openshift environment
  • Collaborate with development teams for seamless application deployment
  • Document procedures and provide training to team members
  • Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery operations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5-8+ years of experience in administering Kubernetes or Openshift environments
  • Strong understanding of containerization technologies, CI/CD tools and practices, and networking and security within containerized environments
