As a dedicated professional, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the high-quality release of our platform. Your expertise will be pivotal in designing and implementing robust automation frameworks, validating complex workflows across hybrid and on-prem environments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain enterprise-grade standards.

This role is ideal for engineers who are passionate about automation, distributed systems, and continuous quality improvements in modern infrastructure setups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases covering cluster lifecycle management, security, networking, and platform integrations.
  • Build and maintain automation frameworks for REST APIs, UI testing, and system-level and end-to-end workflows.
  • Perform performance and scalability testing across VM-based deployments and Kubernetes environments.
  • Validate enterprise-grade scenarios like backup and restore, air-gapped installs, software upgrades, and more.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to drive quality from design to release.
  • Reproduce and debug complex, production-like issues.
  • Own the quality gates for builds and releases.
  • Continuously improve the test infrastructure, tools, and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in automation testing, preferably in infrastructure, database, or enterprise software.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
  • Experience testing distributed systems or microservices.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, hybrid environments, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and excellent problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
