Job Overview:

The Learning Management System Specialist plays a pivotal role in developing and maintaining high-quality courses on Canvas Learning Management System.

This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.

  • Build and maintain courses in Canvas LMS, ensuring alignment with instructional design specifications.
  • Develop, format, and organize content pages, HTML pages, quizzes, assignments, and documents as per design document guidelines and accessibility standards.
  • Create and manage course assets, ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure project requirements and specifications are met.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve LMS-related issues during course setup and delivery, collaborating with relevant teams for solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology
  • 1-4 years of working knowledge on HTML
  • Experience working on the Canvas LMS and/or Content Management System is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of CSS, JavaScript, and accessibility standards for course design
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite and authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and H5P
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
